Conservatorio V. Bellini

The Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini proceeded from the Conservatorio del Buon Pastore (1618). Pasculli taught here, 1860-1913; Pietro Raimondi was director from 1833 until 1850 and was famous for his audacious counterpoint experiments. Pasculli and Raimondi archive. There are busts of Bellini and - damaged and stored away - of Scarlatti and Pasculli (see photos).
